Our Centre created blankets using milk bags to serve those in need. Milk bags were donated by members of our Centre and volunteers were trained on how to braid the bags into blankets. The milk bag blankets were donated to the homeless in Toronto as well as Haitian refugees in Haiti after the earthquake. These blankets became very popular among the homeless in Toronto as it provided them with comfort and kept them dry.
